Being that today is Halloween and the whole world (including the Ebates office) is dressing up as their favorite characters and overdosing on candy, I can't help but think of one of my favorite characters...Sandra D from Grease. Not the wholesome goody two shoes "Sandy", but the liberated, clothed in leather "Sandra". Her look was sexy, chic, and dangerous all rolled up into one. What I love most about her outfit is the way she paired jet black leggings with a shrunken but tough leather jacket. The look is a hybrid of Bob Fosse meets Sara Connor from the Terminator, and nothing short of amazing. I began my search for the perfect leather jacket in some of my favorite vintage stores, yet only managed to find jackets sporting huge shoulder pads a la the 1980's or massive amounts of fringe a la the 1970's. My next resort was to check out some out my favorite sites such as eLUXURY, Shopbop, Bluefly, and Tobi.
While browsing around Tobi, I came across this dead ringer by uber cool leather company S.W.O.R.D. Not only do they hold the title for the best company name ever, but they also hold the title for the best leather jackets. This one known as the Modena Jacket (right) screams motorcycle mama and is so authentic, you'd think it walked straight out of The Wild One . (left) It features a belted waist and lots of tough hardware such as exposed zippers, but retains femininity with the fitted cut. At Tobi I earned 5% cash back ($45)! Think of this jacket as not just a great piece, but as an investment. After all, this classic motorcycle jacket will never go out of style, and will only look better as it ages. This jacket is so hot, that it's deserves a spot on the "Do Not Let Best Friend Borrow" list.

When it comes to leggings I had to enlist the help of my fellow
fashionista Poppy, who knows everything there is to know about
leggings...literally. She recommended these rock and roll latex
leggings by Alice and Olivia.
Made from nylon and spandex they hug in
all the right places, create a slim figure, and are ultra chic to boot.
I envision wearing these out on the town and grabbing the best dressed
spot, which, living in San Francisco, is not easy to do. While they look
great with flats, or any shoe for that matter, a sky-high heel puts
them over the top. If you're thinking these are too crazy for everyday
wear, fret not. These can be extremely versatile, and look great paired
with an oversized sweater or button down shirt. By shopping with Ebates you'll receive 3% cash back. The next time your bf comments on your great finds just say "Tell me about it..stud".
